I played Origins and all the DLC on PC 10 years ago. I only have an Xbox now and I really wanted to play DA2 then Inquisition. But I can't import my DAO world state into DA2. I would have to play DAO on Xbox all Problem resolved. Uninstalled the game and took care to remove all game and data files, re-downloaded through Origin, noticed that the download version is 1.04 but that I already had the 1.05 patch on hand, installed that, made sure that my product key was in the registry and that I had registered my copy with Bioware, fired up game, logged into servers, everything looks fine. I downloaded Dragon Age 2 (with everything all DLC) via Steam. I played this game like mad years ago, on 360. When I saw the "everything" edition for $7, I couldn't pass it up. I downloaded it, installed it, then tried to play. Sure enough, EA and their "you must sign up with/install origin" b.s. strikes.

I recently tidied up my My Documents folder and, in the process, moved the Dragon Age folder to a different folder. When I played dragon age after this all my DLC and save files were no longer in the game. The folder hasn't been damaged or deleted, just moved. I believe that the problem is that the game can no longer find the files.
