In astro, everything comes after coma, then field curvature (the latter is actually what most people observe as off-center softness). Conventual measures of acuity is almost a non-consideration.
The 24mm prime will be handy, though, for street photography because of the wide aperture, and for astrophotography, which you might also want to do at Yosemite. The Sigma 20mm f/1.4 is a good compromise between the two focal lengths - depends if 24mm is wide enough for you (for me, 98% of the time it is more than enough!)
